Team Description

We are from the Department of Earth and Space Sciences at the University of Washington. We plan to launch this payload during a high altitude balloon launch competition sponsored by the Confederate Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation in Umatilla Oregon.

Plan for launch

We plan to launch a high altitude balloon that has a payload capable of capturing altitude, pressure, and temperature. The payload will also have video capabilities. This will be launched during the eclipse to capture a video of the Sun's shadow moving over the Earth

Why did you join?

This competition will allow me to apply for grant funding to produce the 360 degree video capable payload
